My bedside book for the whole spring and summer 2017 will be THE MAKING OF THE PRESIDENT 2016 by Roger Stone. 
This book relates the whole story regarding the election of Donald J. Trump to the US Presidency. 
For those who thought that Donald decided to run for President at the last minute, you are wrong as he already decided in 1999 that he would run. The question was when to jump in order to win. The answer was 2016. 
The summer 2017 will be great for me, at least with my bedside reading…

The art gallery “Galerie Got” of Montreal is presenting the exhibition of renowned Scottish photographer Harry Benson who is known in United States and all around the world for his pictures of stars like The Beatles, Mohamed Ali, nine US Presidents and many other personalities. The pictures of Benson (88 years) at the Montreal exhibition are much about The Beatles including his famous one of the pillows fight… 
One the many subject photographed by Benson, but not seen at the exhibition, is the actual US President, Donald J. Trump, who he knows since over 40 years. Asked about Trump: Benson said that any journalist or photographer who met him for a work assignment is sure to get a good story. “Donald will always give you something, a angle for your story, and it would help your career. Donald Trump knows how to work with the media people.” 
The exhibition in Montreal at the Got Gallery (50 St-Paul West) is on from April 28 to May 28, 2017.

Mark Zuckerberg wants Facebook to be a technical communication network (A MACHINE) while others would like to see it as a media network (HUMAN CONTROL). 
The future reality is uncertain except for one thing: FACEBOOK is playing now a very central part in the daily life of people all around the world either citizens; business enterprises; politicians; or criminals…

Gregory Charles has always been open to new things and he demonstrates it again with his personal use of Facebook Live during his morning animation at Radio Classique. 
The concept of Facebook Live is relatively new but more and more public figures are using it like politicians at their gatherings, including Donald Trump…   
It will be necessary to see the evolution but it is obvious that other radio stations will copy the way that Gregory gathered radio and television with Facebook Live. The beauty and added value of the concept is undeniable! To be continued…

All the pundits all over the world (journalists and media) agree that Le Pen is the French copy of the American Donald Trump.   
The next two weeks will be exciting. Marine Le Pen has a well-equipped political party while Emmanuel Macron has no party to support him. The tune of time is also calling for changing and new style of politicians like Le Pen and Trump. 
The final vote will be held on Sunday, May 7, 2017.

Players and fans of the Montreal Canadiens had appealed to the ghosts of the Old Forum because they wanted to avoid elimination on this Saturday night April 22, 2017 in New York against the Rangers… 
Unfortunately, the ghosts, have not responded! 
The New York Rangers eliminated the Canadiens of the playoffs for the 2017 Stanley Cup to 4 wins against 2.

BALL, HOCKEY OR TV…

There are evenings where the choices of activities are more than the availability of the person… 
This was the case on this Thursday evening April 20, 2017 in Montreal. 
First was the fifth game of the Rangers-Canadiens playoff series at the Bell Center; nearby at the Windsor Station there was also the Daffodil Ball which brought together nearly 3,000 guests; and finally, for the less daring, there was the TV and the series BLACK LIST on NBC at 9 p.m with RAYMOND REDDINGTON and a special two hours… 
Personally, I chose that Raymond; my iPad for hockey; and a pizza for the feast…

THE POPE FRANCIS AND THE TIME –

My friends call me since this Easter 2017: EL PAPA (the Pope in Spanish)… 
The reason? 
Following the reading of the biography of Pope Francis (FRANCOIS SEUL CONTRE TOUS by Arnaud Bédat), I acquired a new watch which is the exact model of the watch that Pope Francis carries.This watch is quite exceptional as much for its price as it is the cheapest of all Swatch models; that by its name which represents perfectly what is the passage of time: “ONCE AGAIN”; as well as its effectiveness with the needles that illuminate in the black and the display of the date and the day. Finally, the watch is so light on the arm that one forgets that one carries it. In other words, a perfect watch! 
Only one element is missing from my watch … it is not yet blessed, but I promise myself to ask the Archbishop of Montreal, Monseigneur Christian Lépine, to do so when I meet him. 
“Ut benedicat tibi Dominus”
