MONTREAL OUT OF THE NEWSPAPER LA PRESSE –
LA PRESSE in paper format (October 20, 1884 – December 30, 2017)
By Bernard Bujold
LA PRESSE readers in print format are living today, Saturday, December 30, 2017, a very deep mourning.
The end of a symbol and a way of life for Montrealers, the complete end of their main newspaper. There are still other paper newspapers still alive in Montreal, such as Le Devoir and Le Journal de Montréal, but none will replace LA PRESSE in paper format …
Goodbye dear LA PRESSE!

THE SANTA’S ELVES OF THE CHRISTMAS 2017-
By Bernard Bujold –
Our friends the Elves said they loved their stay in town for Christmas 2017.
The Elves left the city silently early in the morning, Wednesday, December 27, but promised to return as of December 1, 2018. The Elves wanted to stay for the famous “Boxing Day”, which explains the delay of their departure!
Happy New Year 2018 to the Elves and next year…

LOOK ON 2017 –
by Bernard Bujold –
The holiday season is the time to take a look on the year that is coming to an end.
If there is a constant during the last year, it is the series of various accusations against many of the leaders of our society!
Will this momentum give a better society in 2018?
It will be necessary to see and nobody can be against the evolution of the civilization except that we should not go back to the time of the “inquisition”.
A particular aspect of the accused targets must be noted. All were leaders of our society! The danger is that a society without a leader is a weak society. The Charles Dutoit, Steve Jobs, Gilbert Sicotte, Guy Cloutier or Gilbert Rozon were all great creators but with a behavioral default equivalent to their talent.
A leaderless society is like a jungle without a lion and only gazelles…
To be follow in 2018!

SANTA’S SLEIGH RIDE (2017)
By Bernard Bujold –
Santa, in his great generosity and friendship, offered us a little spin around his cottage in his new sled…
Santa Claus is halfway between Chris Hadfield (astronaut) and Robert Piché (plane pilot). It must be recognized: Santa’s sleigh has really become a high technology…

DONALD TRUMP AND CHRISTMAS 2017…
By Bernard Bujold –
Donald Trump was a joke until nominated; unelectable until elected; and incompetent until he succeeded on most fronts and more!
In the end, his year 2017 was quite a success for Donald Trump!
