The federal election is open and Stephen Harper’s strategy is becoming clearer regarding Quebec. Convince public figures to run for his party. 
After the journalist Pascale Dery, now Michel Surprenant would be interested in the invitation. His reason: military positions taken by Stephen Harper and the results of his actions on the economy plan. 
The race will not be easy for the two opponents Justin Trudeau and Thomas Mulcair. 
It will be interesting to see which federal candidates support the organizations of Quebec political parties? Several local politicians, like Montreal Mayor Denis Coderre, who was a direct rival to Justin Trudeau at the Liberal Party will likely be more favorable to Stephen Harper…
